What exactly is smileeasy?
A Swiss-based platform that helps you find the best dental care abroad. We do the heavy lifting: vetting clinics, monitoring quality, building trust, and matching you to one that fits your case. We also build the technology that makes it all work.
How do you verify the clinics?
Five checks: professional registry membership, manufacturer partnerships (Straumann, Nobel, and others), ISO and sterilisation certifications, languages spoken, and verified reviews from completed cases. Each one is dated and stored as a snapshot on the clinic's profile. We also meet every clinic in person.
Is dental treatment abroad actually safe?
Yes. Dental care is highly standardised to international best practices. The clinics we work with hold the same EU-level certifications as Swiss practices, use the same brand-name implants and materials, and employ dentists trained at major European universities. The remaining risks are mostly logistical, and that's exactly what we're here for.
How does pricing work? Are there hidden fees?
No hidden fees. We have service-level agreements with every clinic that set pricing in advance, and we hold them to it. The clinics share the same interest in building long-term trust, so the price you see is the price you pay.
What treatments can I find on smileeasy?
Veneers, crowns, implants, aligners, aesthetic treatments like whitening and gum contouring, and full smile makeovers combining multiple procedures. Everything is documented properly, so the work done abroad fits cleanly with any follow-up care at home.
Who pays smileeasy, me or the clinics?
A small fixed service fee is included in your booking. The clinics pay nothing to be listed, and that's deliberate. It means our incentive is to recommend the clinic that fits you best, not the one that pays us most. The clinics get cases they're suited to, you get the clinic that fits, and we stay neutral. Everyone's interests point in the same direction.
