By accessing or using the SmileYou platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

SmileYou is a patient-facing platform that helps you discover, compare, and book dental treatment at verified practices across Europe. We facilitate discovery, comparison, and booking of dental services but are not a healthcare provider.

SmileYou provides a platform that enables users to discover dental practices, compare services and pricing, book appointments, and manage their dental care journey. Our services include practice discovery with map-based search, appointment booking and payment processing, secure messaging between patients and practices, and review and rating functionality.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, and update it promptly if anything changes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

When you book an appointment through SmileYou, you enter into a direct agreement with the dental practice. SmileYou facilitates the booking and payment process but is not a party to the treatment agreement between you and the practice.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices displayed on the platform are in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise indicated. Cancellation policies vary by practice and are displayed before you confirm your booking.

Dental practices listed on SmileYou are independent healthcare providers. While we verify basic practice information and credentials, we do not guarantee the quality of dental care provided.

Practices are responsible for maintaining accurate listings, honouring booked appointments, providing professional dental care in accordance with local regulations, and responding to patient communications in a timely manner.

You agree not to use our platform to provide false or misleading information, harass or abuse other users or practice staff, attempt to circumvent our booking or payment systems, scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

All content on the SmileYou platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by SmileYou or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

SmileYou is a patient-facing platform and does not provide medical advice or dental treatment. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcomes of dental treatments provided by practices listed on our platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmileYou's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues informally.

For disputes between patients and dental practices, we offer a mediation service to help facilitate resolution.

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
